Caddell, Laird, Schankerman and Ambroceo race their way into the SIModified.com Modified Showdown 125! - By Charli Brown

Jonathon Caddell won the first of four qualifying heats Wednesday night for the Inaugural SIModified.com Modified Showdown 125.

Irwindale, CA - After four exciting qualifying heat races, the field is set for the SIModified.com Modified Showdown 125.

Jonathon Caddell, JD Laird, Aaron Schankerman and Bobby Ambroceo all visited Victory Lane Wednesday night as they raced their way into the feature event over 35 other drivers who all were looking for a starting spot in one of the toughest starting fields in recent history.

The fans saw some great racing throughout all of the qualifying events as drivers worked the top, bottom and middle grooves of the wide Toyota Speedway at Irwindale.

The SIModified.com Modified Showdown 125 will begin with an 8 o'clock driver's meeting for all qualified drivers, followed by a 10 minute practice session.

Zone15.com Pole Qualifying will begin at 8:15 PM, followed by a 10 minute final "Happy Hour" practice session.

The SIModified.com Modified Showdown 125 will take the green flag at 8:30 PM, EST.
