Look at some of the air cleaners. Is NASCAR trying something or did the teams do it to get better visibility on the road courses?

I seem to recall weeks ago during the test session some teams saying the visability sucked with the stock filter...

I think they (the teams) tried to raise them higher (that day) and ultimately went with the smaller diamater/elevated ones...

That's what I was thinking.. god I just hope they don't start a trend and keep them on for the ovals because they are flat out ugly.. l0l

it was done for visability.....now NASCAR has to change the rules for road courses in the mods.
