Davidowitz wins the Race of Champions, Coy makes it three in a row at Ace while Ambroceo repeats at Thompson! - By Charli Brown
Charlotte, NC - Dominant drivers are beginning to surface in the 2008 SIModified.com Online Racing Leagues' Spring Season.
Holbrook,
New York's Richard Davidowitz made a daring late race charge through
traffic to win the Race of Champions at the historic Langhorne
Speedway, Thursday night and win his fourth straight race in the True
Value/Dart Machinery Modified Series.
Eighteen of the best
drivers in the league took on the tricky one mile circle known as one
of the toughest tracks to race on in it's day and there were a record
21 lead changes among 9 different drivers.
Wednesday night, Richie Coy held off a late race charge by Charli Brown to win the DMC Auto Exchange 150 at the Ace Speedway.
Coy dominated the race and led 146 of the race's 150 laps.
Finally on Tuesday night, Walpole Massachusettes
driver Bobby Ambroceo won his second straight Sunoco SK/SST Modified
presented by NPGPro.com feature at the Thompson International Speedway in the XtraMart 50.
Steve
Rohner, Jr. went for a wild ride down the front stretch flipping end
over end several times as Ambroceo held off a challenge from Ed
Battaglia and Joe Szot to win. Rohner, Jr. was unhurt and walked away
as he waved to the cheering crowd.
With two weeks left in the 2008 Spring Season, can anbody stop the dominance?

Coy wins the Icebreaker, Ambroceo wins his first at Stafford Springs and Davidowitz repeats at Lake Erie! - By Charli Brown
Charlotte, NC - Bobby Ambroceo took home his first win of the 2008 Sunoco SK/SST Modified
Series at the Stafford Motor Speedway in the CarQuest Auto Parts 50,
Tuesday night.
Ambroceo lead all 50 laps from the Earthscapes.cc Pole Award to win over Phil Jacques,
Steve Rogers, Steve Rohner, Jr. and Rick Underwood.
This
week, the Sunoco SK/SST Modified Series presented by NPGPro.com returns
to the Thompson International Speedway for another 50 lap event.
On
Wednesday night, Haskell, New Jersey's Richie Coy won the Icebreaker 150 for the
Whelen Modified Online Tour at the Thompson International Speedway. Coy
inherited the lead after race leader JD Laird was black flagged for a
blocking move and couldn't recover from the two lap penalty.
Coy would go on to win over Jeff Marble, Chris Rogers, Michael Pares, Jr. and Rick Dutra.
This week, the Whelen Modified Online Tour heads to the Ace Speedway for the DMC Auto Exchange 150.
Finally on Thursday night, Richard Davidowitz won his third straight True Value/Dart Machinery Modified
Series event in the Troyer Farms 100 at the Lake Erie Speedway.
Davidowitz recovered from a late race tangle with Chris Forster and dodged multiple
cautions to win over Forster, Zach Truesdail, Chris Rogers and Dennis Frates.
This week, the series heads to historic Langhorne Speedway for the first race in the "Race of Champions" Modified Series.

Windrow and Davidowitz repeat, while Richie Coy dominates at Greenville-Pickens! - By Charli Brown
Charlotte, NC - Jim
Windrow took home his second win of the 2008 Sunoco SK/SST Modified
Series at the Waterford Speedbowl in the Town Fair Tire 50,
Tuesday night.
Windrow stalked Earthscapes.cc Pole winner
Charles Buchanan for most of the event until Buchanan got tangled up
with a lapped car inside 10 laps to go.
Buchanan again had
trouble with SIModified.com officials and was placed at the tail end of
the longest line, resulting in a disappointing tenth place finish.
This
week, the Sunoco SK/SST Modified Series presented by NPGPro.com returns
to the Stafford Motor Speedway to resume the second half of the 2008
Spring Season.
On Wednesday
night, Haskell, New Jersey's Richie Coy dominated the Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 for the Whelen Modified Online
Tour at Greenville-Pickens Speedway.
A
mid-season rule change allowed drivers from the True Value/Dart
Machinery Modified Series to compete on the Whelen Modified Online
Tour, and several drivers competed in their first tour event at
Greenville-Pickens.
This week, the tour heads to Thompson International Speedway for the Icebreaker 150.
Richard
Davidowitz
won his second event of the 2008 True Value/Dart Machinery Modified
Series, Thursday night in the Fraser Street Deli.com 100 at the
Jennerstown Speedway.
Davidowitz
took advantage of a mid-race tangle between race leader Charli Brown
and Timmy Solomito to lead the rest of the way to the checkered flag.

Steve Rohner, Jr. and Richard Davidowitz win week #3, while Greeville-Pickens gets postponed. - By Charli Brown
Charlotte, NC - Steve
Rohner, Jr. won his first Sunoco SK/SST Modified Series presented by
NPGPro.com feature event Tuesday night at the Jennerstown Speedway.
Rohner,
Jr. missed a last lap tangle between leader Charles Buchanan and Jim
Windrow as the two raced down the backstretch and into turn three.
Both
drivers were put to the tail end of the longest line for being
involved in the incident which handed the win to Rohner, Jr.
This week, the Sunoco SK Modified Series presented by NPGPro.com heads to the Waterford Speedbowl for a 50 lap event.
Wednesday
night's Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet 150 for the Whelen Modified Online
Tour at Greenville-Pickens Speedway was postponed and is rescheduled
for this Wednesday night, April 16th, 2008.
Richard Davidowitz
won his first event of the 2008 True Value/Dart Machinery Modified
Series by holding off a determined Timmy Solomito and Zach Truesdail,
Thursday night at the Motor Mile Speedway.
This week the True Value/Dart Machinery Modified Series
heads to Jennerstown Speedway in Jennerstown, Pennsylvania for the Fraser Street Deli.com 100.
