Joshua Guiher leads wire-to-wire to win the 75 lap "Last Chance" race and earns a starting spot in tonight's Jennerstown 350.
Jennerstown, PA - The field is finally set for tonight's Jennerstown 350.
Tyler
Armstrong has won the pole award for setting the fastest time of the
week with an 18.435 second lap at 101.936 MPH which he turned on
Thursday night.
Joshua
Guiher won the 75 lap "Last Chance" race leading wire-to-wire from the
pole position over Mike Woodring, Kevin Kelleher and Mat Benjamin.
Benjamin
raced his way back into the fourth transfer spot after spinning to
avoid Charles Buchanan who spun out of the fourth spot while following
Kevin Kelleher on lap seven.
The entire field behind Joshua
Guiher pitted for fresh rubber under this caution but Guiher had his
TSW Evolution Dodge on cruise control and lapped all the way to the
third place car by the time the checkered flags had waved.
Provisonal
starting postions were awarded to Rick Dutra, Donato DiRenzo, Jim
Rasmussen and Danny Coral to fill out the 28 car starting field for
tonight's event.
Practice will begin at 7 PM, with the final
qualifying session to determine the starting lineup for the Jennerstown
350 starting at 8:05 PM.
This will be the biggest and the most star-studded event ever to take place at SIModified.com.
There will be a full post race report along with news and interviews from the drivers after the race's conclusion.
