SIModified.com announces it's inaugural New Smyrna Speedweek for modifieds online!
Charlotte, NC - First
it was the Whelen "Made in America" 300, then CAM2 Race of Champions at
the historic Pocono three quarter mile oval. Finally, the
inaugural SIModified.com Online Turkey Derby.
These are just a few of the first online modified events held last year that closely resembled actual modified races.
Now,
with the release of the brand new "New Smyrna Modified" track,
SIModified.com is happy to announce our first ever New Smyrna
Speedweek for online modified racing.
The
week's festivites kick
off Monday, February 11th with a 50 lap event for the Whelen Modified
mod and will run consecutively throughout the week right along side
it's real life counterpart. Points will be kept and we'll crown our
first ever New Smyrna Speedweek Champion on Saturday evening after the
final event has been run.
Entries starting pouring in as soon
as the series was announced on the message board and drivers who do not
have the chance to attend the actual races in Florida can now race
themselves in this spcial online event.
