PJ Stergios led 80 of the race's 105 laps to
win the New Hampshire 105 in 2007.
Loudon, NH - The
2008 SIModified.com Online Racing Leagues begins its revamped Summer
Season schedule Wednesday night at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway
with the New Hampshire 200 for the Whelen Modified Online Tour.
Hometown
hero PJ Stergios of Candia, New Hampshire dominated last year's event by
leading 80 of the race's 105 laps from the Bud Pole Award to win in his Eight Ball Properties Ford.
Stergios' win wasn't without it's challenges
as he held off former SIModified.com Online Racing League champions
such as Joshua Guiher, Rex Hoyle and Richie Coy.
This year, the race distance gets extended another 95 laps to a total of 200 to
rejuvenate the Whelen Modified Online Tour and elevate the level of
competition.
Defending Whelen Modified Online Tour Spring Season
champion Richie Coy leads a strong list of competitors into the newly
renamed New Hampshire Motor Speedway for Wednesday night's event.
Practice
will begin at 8 PM EST, with Coors Light Pole Qualifying beginning at 9
PM EST. The New Hampshire 200 will take the green flag at 9:15 PM EST.
