The True Value/Dart Machinery Modified Series heads to Thunder Road Speedbowl tonight for the Mekkelsen RV Thunder Road 100. - By Charli Brown
Barre, VT - The
True Value/Dart Machinery Modified Series begins it's 2008 Summer
Season tonight staring in the face of the famous "Widow Maker" at the
Thunder Road Speedbowl in Barre, Vermont for the Mekkelsen RV Thunder
Road 100.
Defending Spring Season champion Zach Truesdail leads
a strong list of competitors to the series' first visit to the famous
quarter mile that hosts the famous "Milk Bowl" event for the ACT Late
Model Tour every year.
"The fans at Thunder Road got their first
taste of modified racing just a few weeks ago with the True Value
Modified Racing series" commented defending overall series champion,
Charli Brown. "I think it's safe to say the excitement has carried over
to our online racing league drivers and they're ready to take on the
"Widow Maker" as well."
Practice will begin at 8 PM EST, with
Dart Heads Pole Qualifying starting at 9 PM EST. The Mekkelsen RV
Thunder Road 100 will take the green flag at 9:15 PM EST.
