The Whelen Modified Online Tour returns to Bowman Gray Stadium for the Advance Auto Parts 199! - By Charli Brown
Hometown hero Rex Hoyle won the inaugural Advance Auto Parts 199 last year at the Bowman Gray Stadium.

The Whelen Modified Online Tour returns to the historic Bowman Gray
Stadium Wednesday night for the second running of the Advance Auto
Parts 199 online.
Kernersville, North Carolina's Rex Hoyle, who
is a weekly visitor at the Stadium on Saturday nights, led a race high
77 laps and held off a fierce challenge from Steve Meadors in the
race's closing stages to win the event last year.
Hoyle has
verbally committed to defending his title as well as entries from
Riverhead Raceway modified competitor Justin Bonsignore and 2008 Whelen
Modified Online Tour Spring Season champion, Richie Coy.
Practice will start at 8 PM EST, with Coors Light Pole Qualifying starting at 9 PM EST.
The Advance Auto Parts 199 will take the green flag just before 9:15 PM EST.
